Stephen G.N. Fraser
Stephen G.N. Fraser, S.C. the Head of Chambers, was admitted to practice at the Bar in Guyana in November, 1985.
He is also admitted to practice in Dominica, Grenada and St. Lucia. Stephen was conferred with the Honour of Senior Counsel, effective 1st January 2019. He is an Attorney-at-Law, an academic, a company director, a legal consultant and has been the Receiver-Manager of several companies.
His experience includes extensive Commercial Law: including Mergers, Acquisitions, Revenue Law, Labour Law, Trade Union Law, Securities and Exchange Regulation and Financial Institutions, Administrative Law, Constitutional Litigation, Legislative Drafting, Corporate Structuring and Management, Maritime Law, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, and Insolvency Law. He also served as lecturer in the Law of Tort, Contract Law, Legal Research and Writing, and Constitutional Law at the University of Guyana during the period 1989 to 2003.

Teni E. Housty
Teni E. Housty was admitted to practice at the bar in Guyana in October 1996 and the Trinidad and Tobago Bar in 2007. He is a competent and innovative Attorney-at-Law and Legal Consultant, as well as a Certified Mediator.
He possesses a Master of Laws Degree, and the degree of Master of Business Administration. His areas of expertise include, Employment Law, Labour Law, Social Security Law, International Trade, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, Electronic Commerce, Media Law, Legislative Drafting, Human Rights, Environmental Law, Oil and Gas, and extractive industries.
He is also a lecturer at the University of Guyana in the areas of Human Rights Law and Intellectual Property Law and was the President of the Bar Association of Guyana from 2008 – 2010. He is currently President of the Bar Association of Guyana.

Shantel R. Scott
Shantel R. Scott, was admitted to practice at the Bar in Guyana in October 2014. Her relationship with Fraser & Housty Attorneys-at-Law commenced in 2009, prior to her admission to practice. During her time with the Chambers, she provided and continues to provide essential support in the legal practice.

Sydney A. Fraser
Sydney Amaliya Fraser earned her LL.B. from the University of the West Indies, Mona, graduating with First Class Honours. She went on to complete her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School, where she graduated on the Principal’s Honour Roll.
Admitted to the Guyana Bar on October 10th, 2024, Sydney has quickly immersed herself into various areas of law, including civil law, family law, banking and finance, tax, property law, constitutional law, administrative law and prison reform.
Sydney is a dedicated and compassionate advocate at Fraser & Housty. She is known for her sharp legal mind, relentless pursuit of justice, and personalised client care.
